Guildford Meet Report

Last weekend we saw two firsts - the sun made a real appearance for the first time this year and our new Head Coach, Giuseppe Caporaso attended his first meet with Windsor swimmers at the Guilford Level 1 Inaugural Long Course Meet, held at the Surrey Sports Park.

The meet was attended by some very experienced national and regional squad swimmers as well as some of our younger swimmers from county squad. We may have been small in numbers but the results speak for themselves with most of our swimmers gaining PB's and we were well represented in many of the boy's final events. One stand out swim was from Cameron Moffatt swimming an excellent 100 Freestyle to make the rankings for British Nationals

Head Coach, Giuseppe Caporaso commented that despite the older swimmers having trained hard and still feeling the after effects in their muscles from their first week of training with him that their performance was commendable.

With one meet under his belt, Giuseppe is now looking forward to seeing the club perform at meets over the next few weeks in Ealing, Crawley and our own meet in May as well as at Regionals.
