Aquae Sulis Autumn Meet Update
We finally got there on officials (just), so the meet will run as planned. Thank you to all who have volunteered.
The timings on the website do include a little fat between the end of session 6, and the warm-up for session 7 0(about 15 minutes in theory) so hopefully, we can bring the last warm-up forward just a few minutes to make sure we finish as early as possible. For those just attending the very last session – can you please be there a few minutes early. That said, we will make sure everyone gets their fair warm-up.
Please check the website for the latest session times.
Please note, the main car-park is quite expensive – it's a multi-story opposite the pool. For center users, it is possible to validate your ticket in a machine on the reception desk, which usually gives you 3 hours free. I am sure no-one will be thinking about validating their ticket and re-parking between sessions! (Well, guess you might be now).
Alternatively, and more limited, there is a specific car-park open for the event just down from the multi-story, but there is a £5 charge for the day. I am afraid it is the center not us that levy this charge. For Officials, please use this car-park – if all works as planned, your name should be on the gate to ensure free access. If not, we will reimburse the cost.
There will be a swim shop on the Saturday and Sunday.

Aquae Sulis Level 2 - Last Call for Officials
This is a last desperate plea for more officials.
As it stands the meet is short as follows:
- Session 1 – 9
- Session 2 – 6
- Session 3 – 3
- Session 4 – 6
- Session 5 - 2
- Session 6 – 2
- Session 7 – 14
Without the required officials ASPSC be forced to either cancel sessions, or, more likely, cancel the meet. ASPSC are reluctant to do either, but the meet cannot run without sufficient officials. Therefore can you please let me know of any further officials that can help by noon on Wednesday.

Aquae Sulis Autumn Level 2 Meet 2016
Please see the draft entry list.
I would be grateful if you could check your entries carefully – one or two have changed where we have had new times submitted by parents (or in the odd case we checked the ASA rankings and found an error). For some clubs, we have had additional entries on paper – so these may not be on your system. Note – there are no scratches, other than a very few where swimmers did not meet qualifying times – these were notified as entries were processed, so there is no separate list of scratches. If you have not had an earlier such notification, then all your entries have been included.
Can you please let me have any corrections by email no later than Saturday 12th (close of play – I am at the Arena League in the afternoon). You may include any omissions (we all make mistakes), and I will confirm separately whether we have managed to accommodate them. Clearly, where we have made an error, we will allow the correction.
For the Long Distance, please notify of any withdrawals at this point. Please also note, looking at numbers we are just beyond an exact amount of swimmers for an efficient number of heats.. I now plan to operate a sign in system for the Long Distance Events on the Friday. Sign in will close 5 minutes after the start of warm-up. By way of contingency, in case anyone is stuck in traffic, they should text me before 6.05 on 07411 571033, or better still, get their coach to let the sign in desk know. Any swimmer not signed in will be withdrawn.
Sign in will not be required for other sessions.
Note – the planned session end times allow for things like a timing pad needing changing. We should if all runs well finish a few minutes earlier each day.
Finally, I am sure you are tired of being hassled, but we are still short of officials on every session – woefully so for the Friday night and to a slightly lesser extent, Sunday last session. These sessions cannot run if we do not close the gap. If you can find any more officials who fancy a nice weekend in Bristol, with a free lunch, please let me know.

Rushmoor Royals Autumn Meet
Message from Rushmoor Royals about their forthcoming open meet:
The programme for our Autumn open meet this weekend is now available on our website. There will be no paper copies available at the meet so make sure that your swimmers/parents are aware that they need to get it from our website before they come.
The updated accepted entries/rejected entries were updated last night – latest version is now also on our web
Please remind your swimmers that they need to sign in for 400s and to sign out for any other events they are not doing. Please can coaches sign out any swimmers they know aren’t coming so we don’t have too many empty lanes.
If any that know they aren’t coming can notify us by email in advance this will help with the smooth running of the event.
We look forward to welcoming you to our meet.
