South East Bag Cat Regionals

This weekend gone saw the last two days of the South East Bag Cat Regionals. Windsor have had a great year this year with over 90% personal best times achieved.

Nimath Ukkash had a very busy weekend. The 12 year old boy made the finals of the, 200m IM, 100m Backstroke, 200m Butterfly, 100m Butterfly and 200m Backstroke. He gained National qualifying times in the 200 IM and in the 100m Butterfly where he gained a bronze medal.

Team mate Matthew Burton was also busy in the 11 year age group. Matthew made finals in the, 200m IM silver medal. 200m Butterfly silver, 100m Butterfly silver and 4th in the 100m and 200m Backstroke. Matthew also gained a silver in the 400m Freestyle.

Swimming in the same age group Mortiz Hoogers made finals in the 200m IM, 100m Backstroke Bronze and 200m Backstroke silver.

Ben Goldfinch made three finals with personal best times. 200m IM, 200m Butterfly and 100m Butterfly.

Dylan Philpot made his first ever regional final making two finals in the 11 year age group in the 100m and 200m Butterfly. Dylan swam faster in teach final.

Kai Furnell Brennan made his first ever regional final in the 12 years 200m Butterfly with a personal best time.

Mollie Perks swam all personal best times and made the final in the girls 13 years 200m Freestyle.
Other swimmers making personal best times were, Rami Elias,Ruben Walsh, Joshua Roche, Tariq Ukkash and Harvey Karavis.

Windsor younger boys finished well in the bag points:

Assistant coach Alex Vine, said he was very happy with the swimmers results across both weekends. It was great to have every swimmer gain a personal best time from County squad.

Head coach Matt Heathcock gave praise to Alex and his swimmers. He said, it's exciting times for the club a new generation of swimmers are moving through the club and I am very excited to be helping them take the next step within the club come this September. Great swimming everyone.
