We are a Swim England-accredited club managed by an elected Committee that works closely with our team of passionate and dedicated Coaches and Teachers. We operate from 6 pools situated in and around Windsor.
The Club as we know it today was officially established in 1909. Prior to 1909, a swimming club was founded in the 1800s through subscription to the Windsor Bathhouse for men with competitive events taking place in the River Thames from around 1880 onwards. In 1912, the Windsor Ladies Swimming Club was formed, with the two separate clubs later coming together to create Windsor Swimming Club.
The Club today is comprised of an Academy Programme which teaches those aged 4 to 9 years of age to swim at the highest technical level and introduces competitive skills; a Coaching Programme for competitive swimmers from aged 9 who compete at a range of competitive events from local entry level to international championships and a Club Programme for those that swim for health & fitness reasons or to complement other sports.
